These crispy air fryer chickpeas have a delicious crunchy texture and nutty flavor. Enjoy them as a healthy snack or salad topper. Vegan and gluten-free.
Ingredient
1½ cups cooked chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
¼ teaspoon sea salt, plus more to taste
Garlic powder, paprika, or spice of choice, optional
Direction
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
Spread the chickpeas on a kitchen towel and pat dry. Transfer the chickpeas to a medium bowl, drizzle with the olive oil, and sprinkle with the salt and pinches of your preferred spice, if using. Toss to coat.
Spread the chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 10 to 15 minutes (I do 12), tossing halfway, or until crispy.
Enjoy immediately or store at room temperature for up to 2 days.
