Burger sauce roast potatoes

If you're in the mood for some crispy, crunchy roast potatoes, you're looking at your new go-to (with a burger spin!). Using Coles' Special Burger Sauce, we've created a levelled-up variation of a dinner staple the whole family will love. With just 10 minutes of prep, these creamy and tangy potatoes are a great accompaniment to your favourite meal, but also double as a sneaky snack!

Ingredient

  • 1kg Coles Red Royale potatoes, peeled, cut into 3cm pieces
  • 120g (1/2 cup) Coles Burger Sauce, plus extra, to serve
  • 2 tbs Coles Special Burger Pickles
Direction
  1. Preheat oven to 220C/200C fan-forced. Grease and line a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
  2. Place the potato in a large saucepan of cold water and cover with a lid. Place over high heat and bring to a boil. Remove the lid and boil for 6-8 minutes or until the potato is almost tender. Drain.
  3. Return the potato to the saucepan and place over low heat. Shake the pan for 1 minute or until the excess water evaporates and to rough the edges of the potato. Add the burger sauce and stir to combine.
  4. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of the remaining burger sauce over the prepared tray. Top with the potato mixture and spread out to a single layer. Drizzle with the remaining burger sauce and bake for 20 minutes. Turn the potato and bake for a further 20 minutes or until the potato is golden and tender.
  5. Transfer the potato to a serving dish. Sprinkle the pickles over the potato. Serve with extra burger sauce. Watch our step-by-step video below to see how to make these Burger sauce roast potatoes.
