This simple recipe is my favorite method for cooking coarse bulgur wheat. Chewy and nutty, the cooked bulgur is delicious in salads, grain bowls, and more!
Ingredient
2 cups water
1 cup dry coarse bulgur
Direction
Bring the water to a boil in a small or medium pot over high heat.
Stir in the bulgur, cover, turn off the heat, and set aside for 20 to 30 minutes, or until tender. Drain excess water. Fluff with a fork.
